They have made donations of equipment to the following countries; Belize, the Philippines, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Thailand.

Bob Dubbert, President of Firefighters Without Borders Canada called and said they had lost the keys to a 1983 GMC 7000 Superior Fire Truck that was being donated to Uruguay. Randal Bath from Mr. Locksmith Automotive went out to Fire Hall 10 at UBC Vancouver and helped them out. This Fire truck and one other is the 45th and 46th Fire truck they are sending to countries in need.

One of the most important tools a firefighter has is the fire truck itself. A fire truck carries equipment, water supply, specialty hoses and ladders. Those of us living in areas where these trucks are common rarely think of what happens in areas where the vehicles are in short supply. Luckily Firefighters Without Borders Canada has donated live-saving trucks, equipment and training to countries that need them most. Of course, no matter how powerful the truck, keys are needed to make it run! Firefighters Without Borders in Canada had a fantastic GMC 7000 Superior Fire Truck that was built in 1983 and still had plenty of potential to save lives in Uruguay.
